Switch on a private community where clients share photos, chat and react. Message any client privately, and send announcements about closures, weather or offers by push, in the app or by email, now or scheduled.

The community is off until you switch it on, and you moderate everything.

Questions, answered

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan starts with 14 days free, and you don't need a card to start. You choose a plan before the trial ends, and you can export your data whether or not you carry on.

Which countries does Trusthound work in?

The UK, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Germany, the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe. Trusthound uses your country's currency, time zone, units and tax label by default, and you can change them in settings.

How do my clients pay me?

By card, or by bank debit where it's available: Direct Debit in the UK, SEPA Direct Debit in the euro area, ACH in the US, pre-authorised debit in Canada and BECS in Australia and New Zealand. Payments go through Stripe to your own account, and Stripe's processing fees apply.

Will Trusthound get me a licence?

No software can do that. Trusthound helps you keep clear, dated daily records, and in England and Wales its templates follow the published licence conditions. Whether you get a licence, and on what terms, is always up to your local authority.

Can my clients chat with each other?

Only if you want them to. You can switch on a private community where your clients share photos, chat and react. It's off by default, members choose a display name and never see each other's contact details, and you can hide posts and remove members. Private messages and announcements work whether or not the community is on.

Do my clients need to download anything?

They can use the free Trusthound app or a web link. Either way, they see your business name, logo and colours, with a small "Powered by Trusthound" badge.

Can I change plan or cancel?

Yes, at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can export your records.

Where is my data kept?

On Amazon Web Services in London (eu-west-2). Your business data belongs to you, and you can export it or ask us to delete it.

Are prices shown with or without tax?

Without. VAT, GST or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies to you.
